Fishing
Lake Fork is most known for its vast opportunities for fishing. There are plentiful stocks of fish including largemouth , crappie, sunfish, shad, and bluegil. Due to these large and diverse stocks, Lake Fork is frequented by many visitors and hosts numerous fishing tournaments throughout the year. Fishermen will find that the size of the fish are also very large. Of the 20 state record largemouth bass in the state of Texas, 15 of these largemouth bass were caught at Lake Fork. This provides interesting and exciting adventures for Lake Fork's visitors. Since Lake Fork is frequented by many experienced fishermen, beginners might also be able to learn a thing or two from the seasoned veterans of the sport. 
Facilities
Lake Fork offers a number of facilities to accommodate the needs of its visitors. A tackle and bait shop is available to provide fishing equipment for an affordable price. For people in need of a place of moor their boat, there is a selection of marinas throughout Lake Fork. Most of these marinas have wonderful restaurants that visitors will find to be most satisfying after an exciting day on the lake. There are also numerous boat landings for small boats and jet skis. Restrooms are available as well.

Lake Fork has over 27,690 acres of beautiful Texas landscape that makes for the perfect place for sightseeing. This creates a beautiful environment for fishermen and all visitors who wish to enjoy a fun day on the water. Lake Fork's depth also contributes to diversity of the fish and techniques used. At its deepest, Lake Fork is 60 feet deep. This allows for fishing from large vessels and fishing with bottom rigs. These are excellent methods to catch the large population of catfish found in the Lake Fork Reservoir. Throughout the entirety of Lake Fork, spinners and light tackle can be used to catch bass, sunfish, and numerous other game fish. Visitors will find that Lake Fork is an excellent location for sightseeing and fishing alike.
