Good tackle options include crankbaits, spinnerbaits, soft plastics, bucktails, and drop shots. Casual fishermen and families will likely enjoy targeting the species of panfish in Lake Milton. The most predominant species include crappie and bluegill. These species can be caught in the shallow waters around Jersey Street and Mahoning Avenue. Fishermen should target weed beds and areas of cover using light tackle or fly rods.
